HSwMS(His Swedish Majesties Ship) Gustav V is one of the three Sverige-class and is a coastal defense ship (or coastal battleship by other name). In Swedish it's called pansarskepp (armored ship). The ship was delivered to the Swedish navy in 1922. HSwMS Gustav V is named after the current king at the time, Oscar Gustav Adolf (1858-1950).
